You won't see these tears I cry

The beauty of this photo is seen clearly in its simplicity and vivid colour. The purple of the flower contracts strongly against the pale green background and the light enhances the effect of the water droplets.

The only criticism I would have is in regard to the focus on the flower. I can see the effect of having the focus only on the largest water droplet, but most of the flower is so fuzzy that it detracts from the general appearance. I'm not saying the focus should be on all of the flower, just that it might look a bit better if the petals were a little sharper.

Overall though I love the effect of the droplets on the blossom and the reflection within the largest droplet. Natural beauty in its simplest form shown off expertly.
